Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja”s wife, Rivaba, chose to ignore the accusations made by her father-in-law, Anirudhsinh Jadeja. The politician was asked about the accusations made by Ravindra”s father but the questions did not sway her away as she chose to stick to discussions around the event only.
“Why are we here today? You can contact me directly if you want to know about it,” Rivaba said.
Earlier, in an interview that went viral on social media, Ravindra”s father had claimed that his relationship with the Indian cricketer and his wife has been strained for a long time now. His father alleged that Rivaba caused a rift in the family, a few months after marrying the Indian cricketer. He went on to mention that there has been no phone call exchange between them and Rivaba wanted everything (referring to his assets) to be transferred to her name.
Jadeja had responded to the accusations made by his father in a statement written in Gujarati. The statement said that the interview given by his father was “false” and “meaningless”.
“The things mentioned in the dubious interview with Divya Bhaskar are meaningless and false. Those are one-sided comments that I deny them. The attempt to tarnish the image of my wife is improper and condemnable. I too, have a lot to say but it is better that I don”t reveal those things in public,” Jadeja said.
Meanwhile, Jadeja has been named for the final three Tests against England. But Jadeja”s inclusion in the third Test, starting on February 15 in his hometown, remains a subject to his recovery.
