Hollywood icon Tom Cruise made a dramatic appearance at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics 2024 on Sunday. Taking the audience in awe, the actor abseiled off the Stade De France roof carrying the Olympic flag.
The spectacular entry of Cruise was the highlight of the entire night. The actor as his mission, helped the Olympic committee transfer the flag from Paris to Los Angeles, where the next edition of the games will be held. The Mission Impossible star took the transfer in his own style, taking the Olympic flag on his bike live in front of the audience and taking it to the airport, where the flight took the flag to LA.
The iconic entry of the actor was a huge surprise to the crowd. Cruise grinned as he was mobbed by a surging crowd of athletes the moment he landed in the stadium – having rappelled about 50m (164ft).
