WATCH: Nepal Welcomes West Indies 'A' Team With Tempo To Carry Luggage

West Indies “A” squad was welcomed in Nepal on Thursday in a rather unusual manner as they arrived at the Kathmandu Airport. In a video that went viral on social media, it can be seen that the hosts welcomed the touring side with a tempo to carry luggage.

Moreover, the video shows that after the West Indies “A” players kept their luggage on the tempo, they boarded a normal tourist bus with non-ac facilities. The ordinary treatment of the West Indies “A” players left them baffled with many of them having a smirk on their faces.

“The way Nepal welcomed West Indies team.🤨,” the video was captioned.

Minnows Nepal will need to make better arrangements in future tours if they want elite teams to visit their nation.

West Indies are slated to play a five-match T20 series in Nepal, starting on April 27. The visiting side has named a depleted side as many players are missing in action due to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
