Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, has been reportedly hospitalized in Mexico City. Mexican media outlets reported that the 73-year-old tech entrepreneur was hospitalised due to a possible stroke. However, US media outlet TMZ reported that the illness might be a less serious case of vertigo.

Steve Wozniak was in Mexico City to attend the World Business Forum event held in the Santa Fe neighbourhood. TMZ reported that Steve Wozniak delivered his speech at the event and then later told his wife that he was “feeling strange”. His wife then reportedly insisted on seeking medical attention. Steve Wozniak is currently receiving medical care and reportedly undergoing several tests at a hospital in Mexico City.

Steve Wozniak, an American electronics engineer, was the cofounder of Apple Computer and the designer of the first commercially successful personal computer. Wozniak and his friend Steve Jobs co-founded Apple Computer named “Apple I” in 1976. Mr Wozniak is among the most significant revolutionaries of the computing age. His invention in 1976 changed ideas about what a computer could look like. Notably, Jobs and Wozniak introduced the Apple II in 1977. However, Mr Wozniak left Apple in 1986.

Steve Wozniak, also affectionately known as “Woz,” has a reported net worth of over $140 million. Outlook India reported that almost $15 million of Steve Wozniak”s wealth is invested in Apple shares. The American electronics engineer is also reportedly holding shares of more than 15 companies that are traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
