Apple's New iPhones' Release Confirmed For This Date

Ending all the speculations surrounding the release date of its new products, Apple said it will release its latest products on September 12, at 10 pm ET (1 pm IST). Apple, the company that uses the hype around the product release as one of its major marketing tactics, will hold the presentation for the media and public at its headquarters in Cupertino, California. The live event will be available on apple.com and Apple TV platforms.

Apple is expected to release iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max or iPhone 15 Ultra during the event.

The new iPhone models, according to reports, are expected to use a USB-C charging port, following the European Union passed a landmark law in October requiring all mobile phones, tablets and cameras sold in the European Union to use USB-C for wired charging. The Union had set December 28, 024 as deadline to implement this directive.

Reports suggested that some of the new Apple devices could be made of titanium. New Apple Watch models are also expected at the event, including an updated version of the high-end Apple Watch Ultra.

The new version of iOS for iPhones is also expected from the event, as tech major typically releases new software versions at the September event. This year, as per reports, the software updates include a more visual caller ID called contact posters, better autocorrect and a new journaling app.

The company posted quarterly revenue of $81.8 billion, down 1 percent year over year, and quarterly earnings per diluted share of $1.26, up 5 percent year over year, as per the financial results for its fiscal 2023 third quarter ended July 1, 2023.
