"At Least We Can 'C'...": Samsung Makes It Sure That Arrow Hits The 'Apple'

During its Wonderlust launch event hosted on September 12, 2023, by Apple, the tech giant unveiled its latest products, including the iPhone 15 lineup, the Apple Watch Series 9, and the AirPods Pro with a USB-C charging case. As usual, the internet has been flooded with reactions regarding the company and its products, primarily from non-Apple product users. Amidst this buzz, one company made sure to join the conversation: none other than Samsung, Apple”s long-standing rival. These two companies, the two biggest smartphone manufacturers in the world, have been fiercely competing for market share for many years.

When the South Korea-based company took to Twitter to take a swipe at the premium brand known for its high-quality and expensive products, Samsung”s target was the newly announced USB-C port on the iPhone 15 lineup, replacing the Lightning port.

“At least we can “C” one change that”s magical,” Samsung posted on X (formerly Twitter) platform. However, Apple has not responded yet to the jab, and the company typically doesn”t engage in such exchanges.

The rivalry between Apple and Samsung began in 2007, when Apple released the iPhone. The iPhone was a revolutionary product that changed the way people use smartphones. Samsung was quick to react, and it released its own Android-based smartphone, the Galaxy S, in 2010.

Since then, Apple and Samsung have been competing head-to-head in the smartphone market. Both companies have released a number of innovative products, and they have both been involved in patent disputes.

In 2011, Apple filed a lawsuit against Samsung, alleging that Samsung had copied the design of the iPhone. The lawsuit was settled in 2018, with Apple being awarded $539 million.
