In the AI-generated video, Alia Bhatt appears to join the GRWM (Get Ready With Me) trend. The video, posted on Instagram by a user named Sameeksha Avtr has already gained lakhs of views in a day. The Instagram user in her bio has written “All the videos made using AI for only entertainment purposes” and has created a lot of deepfake videos of the actor Alia Bhatt.

However, shortly after the deepfake clip went viral, Alia Bhatt’s fans posted their concern over the dangerous use of AI. According to the reports, one fan commented, “AI is getting dangerous day by day,” while another user wrote, “Feeling bad for those who think it is real.”
This is not the first time that a deepfake of Alia appeared on social media. In May this year, a video of Alia surfaced online which showed her face morphed into actress Wamiqa Gabbi’s figure.
Earlier this year, Delhi Police arrested a 24-year-old BTech graduate from Andhra Pradesh for creating the viral deepfake of actor Rashmika Mandanna. As AI expands on creating such fake faces, their fans and followers are in a worry about the constant menace AI could create in one’s lives, especially among celebrities.
