Google's Pixel 10 Is Here: Key Features You Need to Know

The Google Pixel 10 series has officially launched. The tech giant unveiled its tenth-generation Pixel lineup – the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold – at the annual “Made by Google” event held on Wednesday (August 20). The newest additions also include the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a.

Here’s a look at the most significant and exciting reveals for the new lineup.

Pixel 10 comes with the new Tensor G5 chipset, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device comes with stock Android 16 out of the box, with Google promising seven years of OS updates and security patches. It possesses 3,000 nits peak brightness and 2,000 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM).


An upgrade from the dual camera system of Pixel 9, this year’s Pixel 10 comes with triple camera system offering a 50MP wide primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide lens and a 10.8MP telephoto lens. Meanwhile, it also has the 10.5MP front shooter like the previous version.

The Pixel 10’s battery and charging speed are also bigger and more advanced. The new variant comes with 4,970mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging speed and up to 15W with Qi 2 standard.

Some of the noteworthy features in the Pixel 10 series include a magnetic accessory system called PixelSnap, an AI feature to help users take better photos called Camera Coach, an AI-powered health coach within the Fitbit app, and need-based proactive AI assistance called Magic Cue.  Besides, all three phones also come with one year of free Google AI Pro.

In India, the price for the Google Pixel 10 models starts at Rs. 79,999. The device will be available in different color variants. All three phones are available for pre-orders and will be in retail stores in India from August 28.
