Kevan Parekh, Apple’s vice president of financial planning and analysis is set to become the company’s Chief Financial Officer joining the executive team as the company announced a transition in its leadership. The current CFO Luca Maestri will end his role in January 2025.
Parekh has been at Apple for 11 years and is positioned in a designation for financial planning and other related areas. He joined the company as a financial support for Apple’s product marketing, internet sales, and services. Before joining the tech giant Apple, he contributed to Thomson Reuters designating various roles.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said that Kevan has been a valuable member of the finance team and he possesses the ability to understand the company very well. His business acumen and his financial brilliance make him the right choice to be Apple’s next CFO. On the contrary, Maestri will lead the corporate service team, including information systems and technology, information security, real estate and development.
Kevan Parekh is an Indian-origin engineer with years of experience in both business and technical disciplines. Through his new designation, he will also lead Apple’s executive team. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Michigan University and an MBA from Chicago University. He worked at General Motors in overseas operations before joining the Cuoerino-based company Apple.
According to Bloomberg, Maestri the current CFO, has been grooming Parekh for several months to get acquainted with the CFO role. Luca Maestri was Named Apple’s CFO in 2014 and he witnessed growth in the company’s annual sales during his tenure.
