Apple is launching its first M4-powered Macs starting Monday, October 28 (today).  Apple’s marketing chief, Greg Joswiak confirmed the releases on social media, saying it’ll be “an exciting week of announcements.”

The tech giant Apple will unveil updated MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini models through press releases instead of a traditional event, but select creators will get hands-on demos in Los Angeles.

It is anticipated that the Mac mini will get its biggest redesign in years, shrinking to a size similar to the Apple TV. The new MacBook Pro will have 16GB of RAM, three Thunderbolt 4 ports and an M4 chip with a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU.

Also, higher-end models will feature M4 Pro and M4 Max chips. The 24-inch iMac will also get the M4 chip, starting with 16GB of RAM and more CPU cores and no significant design changes are expected for the iMac, as per the latest leaks. It was said that the upgrade makes the iMac one of Apple’s most advanced desktop options for creative and professional use.

Apple fans are eagerly waiting to know whether the company will give a complete revamp for its Mac mini model. This is considered the tiniest desktop computer launched by the company to date. It was reportedly said that the company is planning for a round-off in all Mac devices infused with artificial intelligence. Apple may update the entire row that comes with the M4-series chip unveiling Apple Intelligence.

The Mac mini’s revamp will be the first prime update as it was anticipated to do an overhaul since 2010, as per the reports. The new Mac mini will be the smallest of all its previous versions infused with AI as the company has already unwrapped its M4 chip earlier in May along with iPad Pro.
