A flight from Thailand to the United Kingdom reportedly made an emergency landing at London”s Heathrow airport after a passenger attempted to kill himself in the plane’s toilet. According to The Sun, this shocking incident happened on the EVA Air flight (BR67) from Bangkok to London on Friday, March 15.

As per the report, EVA Air flight was in the middle of its descent into Heathrow Airport when flight attendants realised that a passenger was still occupying the restroom. The Sun reported that the passenger was found in the restroom, where it was suspected he was trying to take his own life. The on-board doctor and flight attendants then provided first aid to the passenger. When the flight landed, medical personnel rushed the passenger to a hospital for further treatment. EVA Air has reportedly confirmed the incident. However, the identity of the passenger or the reason behind the incident has not yet been disclosed.

It is worth mentioning that EVA Air is one of Taiwan’s largest airlines. The airline recently made headlines by placing a bulk order with Airbus. According to Airbus, EVA Air had finalised an order for 33 planes. This includes 18 long-range A350-1000s and 15 single-aisle A321neo.

Meanwhile, according to a New York Post report, a Jetstar flight from Melbourne to Bali was forced to take a U-turn back to Australia recently after a passenger banged on the cockpit door and shouted at other passengers. The airline mentioned in a statement that the captain decided to return to Melbourne after a passenger became “disruptive.”
