After starting a clinic in partnership with Talal, business disagreements led both to hostilities, and Talal allegedly subjected her to sustained physical and mental injuries after claiming he married her submitting alleged forged documents. The Yemeni citizen allegedly seized her passport, and extorted money using threats.

Nimisha Priya, aiming to take back her passport, drugged Talal and the high doses reportedly led to the Yemeni national’s death. To cover the crime, Nimisha Priya allegedly chopped up the body of Talal and dumped it in a water tank.
