"Arabs Will Move, Don't Give Them Food": Daniella Weiss On Palestinians' Leaving Gaza
The far right Israeli settler protagonist Daniella Weiss, known as the ‘godmother’ of the settler movement, has again given a controversial statement where she supported the blocking of food supply to Palestinians to make them leave Gaza. Weiss, 79, is the leader of a radical settler organisation called Nachala – or homeland.
The Israeli settler on Palestinians leaving Gaza said, “They will move. We want to have our hostages there, right. So we don’t give them food. We don’t give Arabs anything; they will have to leave. The world will accept them”.
For decades, Weiss has been prominent in the founding of Jewish settlements in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, on land captured by Israel in the 1967 Middle East War.

In May 2025, the UK government announced sanctions against Daniella Weiss to demonstrate its determination to hold extremist settlers to account for Palestinian communities.
Weiss was described as having been involved in “threatening, perpetrating, promoting and supporting acts of aggression and violence against Palestinian individuals”.
Weiss was recently featured in Louis Theroux’s documentary “The Settler”, and has been active in rebuilding settlements in Gaza.
In an earlier interview with BBC, Weiss has stated about encourgating Gaza Arab’s leaving Gaza Strip, “The world is wide. Africa is big. Canada is big. The world will absorb the people of Gaza. How we do it? We encourage it”. Palestinians in Gaza will be enabled not forced because they want to go, she said.
