Tel Aviv, Israel: Iran fired several missiles at Israel early Tuesday hitting buildings around Beersheba, after US President Donald Trump announced that both Iran and Israel agreed to an immediate ceasefire. The attack comes amid continued Israeli strikes across Tehran even after the US president’s declaration to  halt fire exchanges between the two nations.

At least four people are killed, and several others injured in the latest Iranian missile attack in Israel’ Beersheba, reported Times Of Israel, citing emergency response officials. During the attack, several buildings also sustained heavy damage in the area where the Iranian ballistic missiles hit.

Iran, while rejecting the ceasefire deal announced by Trump, made it clear that if Israel stops bombing, Tehran will also stop firing missile barrages at the Jewish nation.

Rescue teams are climbing through the mangled slabs of concrete and twisted metal to save the survivors, combing through the rubble of the building. Officials have reportedly told media that there are no people missing and they are checking every part of the partially collapsed structure.

Following the latest missile strikes at Israel, Iran has officially announced a total ceasefire with Israel, Iranian state media reported, citing the foreign minister. However, Israel has not made any comment regarding the development.

On Monday, Iran targeted US bases in Qatar after the former carried out bunker-bustler bombings at three Iranian nuclear facilities, including a uranium enrichment facility at Fordo. While the damages caused by the US strikes has yet to be assessed and confirmed, President Donald Trump called the Iranian response weak and expected.
