The viral song track ‘Boom Boom Tel Aviv’, celebrating the Iranian retaliation against the Israeli-provoked attacks on Iran after June 13, has been removed from various streaming platforms, including SoundCloud, TikTok, and others. The song is reportedly written by Lucas Gage, a veteran US Marine Corps and activist.

With rhythmic chorus and bold lines, the song was being widely shared throughout the platforms, paired with clips of missiles hitting Tel Aviv. Now, the songwriter Lucas Gage shared the information via the social media platform ‘X’ that TikTok has banned the song, citing a violation of the content.

Lucas shared a video criticising the removal of the song, calling it a violation against the people’s choice and imposition on people about what they should listen. Despite the song going viral worldwide, the removal of the song shows the control over content creation and freedom of expression. The former US Marine Corps criticized Israel for running the show and putting restrictions on people’s choices.

The lyrics of the song are heavily loaded with accusations against Israel for committing genocide in Gaza. It also mentions the controversial and explicit TikTok videos made by Israelis mocking the sufferings of Palestinians. The song says Tel Aviv brought this upon themselves: “This is what you get for all your evil deeds”.

The track has been removed from the streaming platforms; however, on social media, the track was widely shared by people in the form of videos, which are still available.
