The turbulent battle between Israeli occupation force and Palestinian fighters are raging on in most of the Gaza Strip, while the civilians are forced to flee towards the south of Rafah. The latest situation report from UN says that the entire population of Gaza Strip is at the brink of famine. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the occupied Palestinian Territory said the besieged enclave is grappling with catastrophic hunger as the displaced people are “squeezed into overcrowded spaces in dire living conditions”. Around 85 percentage of the total population (1.9 million) of Gaza Strip has been displaced since October 7, said UNRWA.
#Gaza grapples with catastrophic hunger as new report predicts famine if conflict continues. Meanwhile, more casualties are reported, as displaced people are squeezed into overcrowded spaces in dire living conditions.

Over 20,000 Palestinians were killed in Israeli bombing on Gaza. Most among the dead are children. Over 52,000 were reported to be “afflicted with life-threatening and -altering injuries”. Director-General of the World Health Organizaton, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus list out some of the endless horrors that is currently happening in the Gaza Strip which “has become a Hell on earth”.
He said, on average around 300 deaths are reported from Gaza Strip and only 9 of the total 36 hospitals in Gaza are now functioning, that too partially. No hospitals in north Gaza are working anymore. Mr. Gebreyesus said “disease, hunger and lack of clean water and sanitation” are posing greater risks than the bombs and bullets. He also added that the trauma from the brutal war “will haunt many for years”. He called for the “carnage” to stop.
I have lost count of the number of times when I thought the crisis in #Gaza could not get more horrific.
But it has happened again.
The fact we are talking about 20,000 people killed, mostly children and women, and with over 52,000 (and counting) afflicted by life-threatening… pic.twitter.com/vwXLeD6MkP
