Palestine – Israel conflict enters to it 12th day with chaos unfolding in every nook and corner of the Gaza city. The very recent news of Israeli strike at Al Ahli Arab hospital which has resulted in the death of more than 500 Palestinian has led to massive outrage across the streets all around the World.

The hospital not only treated the wounded in Gaza but also served as shelter for the Palestinians who were displaced due to the order of Israel to flee the north to “save themselves”. Thousands of children, women and elderly sheltered here. The videos of hospital engulfed in flames with mutilated bodies scattered around including kids are being widely spread. Amid continuous Israel’s bombardment on Gaza city, Palestinians face a deepening humanitarian crisis.

While the Israeli military said that the bombing was result of a misfired Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket. The mass killing has resulted in widespread international condemnation and protests at Israeli embassies in several countries. Protests outside Israeli, US and French embassies immediately erupted in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Tunisia, reports Al Jazeera.

US President Joe Biden departed for his visit to Israel on Wednesday. And the planned four-way summit in Jordan has been postponed. US President Biden said he is “outraged and deeply saddened by the explosion at the Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza, and the terrible loss of life that resulted”.

While the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group denied Israel’s claim that it was behind the deadly blast and accused Israel of “trying hard to evade responsibility for the brutal massacre it committed.” They also added that they do not use places of worship or public facilities, especially hospitals, as military centers or weapon stores”. The group that detailed the attack and confirmed it as similar to Israeli strikes. Palestinian ambassador to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour also denied Israel’s claim, calling it “lies.”

A senior Palestinian official says President Mahmoud Abbas has cancelled the meeting with President Joe Biden and other Middle East leaders on Wednesday. Though the cancelation hasn’t been confirmed formally, the senior official has said that Abbas was withdrawing to protest an alleged airstrike on a hospital in Gaza, reports AP.

Palestinian President Abbas said that Palestinians will not accept another Nakba in the 21st century and they will neither move nor surrender. “We will not leave our homeland nor allow anyone to expel us from here” Abbas added.
