Dubai princess, Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum grabbed headlines with the launch of her new perfume line, “Divorce”. The fragrance, which was released under her brand Mahra M1, is alleged to be the direct reference to her recent high-profile divorce.

The perfumed was launched just weeks after the 30-year-old publicly divorced her husband on Instagram. Mahra’s decision announce divorce on social media, especially not long after the birth of their first child garnered significant attention worldwide.

The daughter of Dubai’s ruler shared a teaser of the perfume in her social media post. The post featured a black bottle engraved with ‘Divorce’ on it. The picture was accompanied with a video, filled with imagery of broken glass and black panther. This was also taken as a theme of separation by netizens.
