Dubai Designates Family-Only Beaches For Eid Holidays

The Dubai Municipality has designated four beaches only for families during the Eid holidays. Jumeirah Beach 2, Jumeirah Beach 3, Umm Suqeim 1 and Umm Suqeim 2 are the beaches in Dubai which are exclusively designated for families during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

Moreover, the municipality has also allocated an integrated team for safety and rescue, comprising 126 quality personnel, and for organizing operations. The authority had said that the move was taken as the beaches during the holidays are expected to receive a significant crowd, which could be regulated to an extent by designating them to families. The measure was taken to ensure that the families get to enjoy the beach environment in comfort and safety.

Accessibility measures, including designated pathways for people of determination and the elderly, have been implemented. By providing dedicated family-friendly beach areas, the municipality aims to enhance the overall well-being and quality of life for all community members, encouraging families to enjoy the emirate’s world-class public beaches during one of the most anticipated holidays of the year.

The 126 quality personnel designated are supported by state-of-the-art equipment and logistical resources that enhance rescue operations and uphold the highest standards of safety for beachgoers. In addition, to this, a dedicated field supervisory team of ten trained professionals will manage crowd control, oversee traffic at beach car parks, and monitor the overall security and operations across the designated cities.

Apart from this, the Dubai Municipality has also prepared its major parks and recreational destinations, such as the Dubai Frame and Children’s City, to host a range of entertainment activities and events throughout the holidays.
