Tehran, Iran: Iran’s military has accused Israel of carrying out a drone attack on oil and energy facilities belonging to Saudi oil company Aramco. The Iranian force said it was a false flag operation by Israel, reports Al Jazeera, quoting Iran’s Tasnim News Agency. 

In a statement, Iran said that the attack on Aramco was an Israeli false flag operation, adding that Israel’s goal is to distract the minds of regional countries from its crimes in attacking civilian sites in Iran.

The Iranian source pointed out the intelligence received by them shows the port of Fujairah in the UAE is also one of the next targets of the Israelis in the false flag operation.

The military said that Iran has announced frankly that it will target all American and Israeli interests, installation, and facilities in the region, and has attacked many of them so far.

“But Aramco facilities have not been among the targets of Iranian attacks so far, Middle East Monitor quoted Iranian source. Aramco’s oil facilities in eastern Saudi Arabia was hit by a drone on Monday, prompting authorities to shut down the facility and cease operation.
