Israel occupation force continue to coruscate the sky above Gaza Strip with “white phosphorous” and deadly air rides. As the war entered its 22nd day, streets of Palestine has been foreshortened to crimson ashes. Israel claims the attack is not targeted at the civilians but at the Hamas “terrorists” who are installed under hospitals and use civilians as human shields.

Hamas resistance group rejects the Israeli claim against them using Al Shifa hospital for their underground military purposes and said that the occupation force’s claim have “no basis in truth”, says Ezzat El-Reshiq, as quoted by Al Jazeera.

X (formerly twitter) account of Israel Defense Force has shared alleged conversation between IDF officer and “Senior Gazan Energy Official” claiming that “Hamas headquarters under the Shifa hospital is draining the necessities—fuel, oxygen, water and electricity—from the Gazans and staff and using them for terrorism”.

 

 

The IDF has also shared another post “showing” how Hamas use Al-Shifa hospital for their “terrorism” activities.

 

 

The IDF has also claimed that people of Gaza is not among the list of priorities for Hamas as they hides and operates beneath Al-Shifa hospital which the IDF called Hamas””s “HQ”.

 

 

 

Earlier, Daniel Hagari, an Israeli Spokesperson said that Hamas had “turned hospitals into command and control centres and hideouts for Hamas terrorists and commanders”, and accused the Hamas resistance group for storing fuels inside hospitals for their military operations.

Mr. El-Reshiq claims that Israeli accusation of Hamas using hospitals for their need is the occupation force’s attempt to “pave the way for targeting a hospital that contains thousands of wounded and shelters more than 40,000 displaced people”.

Al-Shifa hospital is shelter to over 50,000 Palestinians who were displaced from their homes. Brimmed with refugees, hospital is at the verge of collapsing. Most of the Palestinians refused to move out to Khan Younis, south of Gaza, as instructed by Israeli occupation force.

Israel has cut off water, food, electricity and fuels for the Palestinians since the war began. Adding fuel to the already raging fire of humanitarian crisis, the occupation force has bombed the areas near hospitals. The danger of bombing has been looming above the Al-Shifa hospitals for days now, as per report.

Mr. Hagari shared visuals of the occupation force bombing infrastructures of the “terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip”. He claimed the Israeli Defense Force’s “warplanes attacked over 250 targets”.

 

The bombing on Al Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza was received with outrage through out the world. But the blame game is still on. Israel said it was a “misfired” bomb from  Palestinian Islamist Jihad group, while Palestinian officials believed the bomb was fired by Israel.

Israel has been bombing the besieged enclave of Gaza since Hamas attacked southern Israel on October 7th and killed 1400 majority of which were civilians. In the name of targeting Hamas, the occupation force has showered deadly bombs and artilleries above ethe Gaza Strip, killing hundreds within the time span of 24 hours and the practice continue to take place.

So far, over 100 health workers have been killed and more than 21 journalists lost their lives in the Israeli air strikes. Out of 35 hospitals, 15 are out of service. Nearly 8000 Palestinians lost their lives and around 18,967 are injured.
