How Motaz Azaiza’s Journalism Shows The Real Destruction Of Gaza

Israel-Palestine war: Motaz Azaiza is among very few Palestinian journalists reporting from the land of catastrophe, who struck hearts of millions with his photographs spitting raw images of the gut-wrenching realities forced upon the people of Palestine.

Before the beginning of the bloody war, Mr. Azaiza was just another photographer, but today he is the prominent photographer on whom the world outside the war field rely on.

He works for United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestinian refugees. He is based in Gaza. His photographs depict the ground reality of the innocent civilians of the Gaza Strip.

In latest of his post, he shared a video of a man holding on to a colorful towel. The man was at the sight where Jabalia refugee camp was powdered to ashes by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF). The man revealed what was inside the towel, which is dusted internal organ of one of the civilian who was killed in the bombing.

This is not the first such pictures and videos shared by Mr. Azaiza. This is the reality happening in the occupied land and he made sure that he is doing everything he can to let the world hear what is happening in his homeland.

His message to the world is to simply raise voice against the massacres on his people. He lost 15 members of his family during an Israeli air strike.

Amid the chaos and blood, the Palestinian also shared the innocent smiles from the refugee camps.
