Motaz Azaiza, A Palestinian Journalist Shows How Israeli Bombing Has Reduced Gaza In To Ashes
Motaz Azaiza, is the name world has been paying close attention to since the bloody war between Hamas and Israel has started. Among very few Palestinian journalists, who have been delivering news about the doings of the Israeli occupation in the land of Palestine, Mr. Azaiza has been in the front row.
Mr. Azaiza is an influencer and photojournalist from Palestine. In his latest post, he revealed the reality of occupation forces’ bombardment. The video revealed the visuals about how a whole city has been reduced to ashes by the occupation force. Mr. Azaiza mentioned that the video is of the “massive destruction that happened to Al Zahra city the middle of the strip”.

In another video, he was seen holding a big red teddy bear and captioned the post by saying “we still alive till now”.

Earlier on October 13, Mr. Azaiza has shared a footage of himself in the middle of rubbles of an apartment destroyed in the Israeli bombardment. He lost 15 members of his family. The video shows a distressed Azaiza with one of the neighbour carrying a child’s body draped with white shroud.

Meta has earlier denied access to his account. His X (formerly twitter) is still down due to unknown reasons. While his Instagram account was down, he created an alternative account which has garnered millions of followers.
X has been taking down accounts to Gaza and hundreds of accounts has been down so far. Social media is one of the important tool for Palestinians to show the world the atrocities of Israeli occupation force. The accounts of Palestinians have been undergoing blocks and shadowbans. This shows the intervention of West in the most basic layer of news sharing.
Mr. Azaiza represents the Palestinian people and their outcries as most of his posts called for ending the genocide. In one of his post he said “At least crying is better than no crying.. You know what I mean ?”, showing how horrifying the situation in Gaza is.

Mr. Azaiza”s social media account is one among very few source to clearly understand and witness the bloody face of the Israeli occupation force”s brutality, which the West is preaching about their “right to defend”.

Mr. Azaiza is not the only one, but he is among the very few journalist and influencers from the land of Palestine, who stood strong in the battle field and tried to help the world witness the unfurling of vicious brutality. Earlier, followers has pronounced their worry about losing access to him and losing himself to the bombing like all other journalists from the land of Palestine.

According to Al Jazeera report, so far 23 journalist has lost their lives from Gaza Strip.
