Israeli Airstrike Kills Over 24 At Gaza Beachside Cafe

A recent strike by Israel at a beachside cafe in Gaza has killed over 24 people, including women, children, and one journalist. This is another attack by Israel on continuing targets against civilians in Gaza. Reportedly, Al Baqa Cafeteria along the Gaza city coast, where many journalists work and civilians find reprieve, has been targeted.


Reportedly, the search operation for the deceased and injured is still underway.

Israeli attacks across Gaza are killing civilians on an almost daily basis. On June 29, at least 72 people lost their lives. Authorities say at least 66 children have died of malnutrition in Gaza during Israel’s war.

As per the reports published in Haaretz recently, over 100,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since Israel launched attacks after October 7.

Israeli army is facing widespread backlash over reports of the deliberate killing of civilians at the food collection points. As per the United Nations Human Rights, the Israeli army has reportedly killed over 410 Palestinians trying to get food at the aid collection points.

Killing and wounding of civilians resulting from the unlawful use of firearms constitutes a grave breach of international law and a war crime, the UN body said.

In a report published in Haaretz, IDF soldiers admitted to deliberately targeting civilians at the aid distribution sites.
