
Qatar Calls Israel's Attack As 'State Terrorism' By Netanyahu
Qatar has condemned Israel’s strike on Doha as ‘state terrorism’ and denied White House’s claim of warning Doha ahead of Israeli attacks.
The White House said that Trump had directed Special Envoy Witkoff to inform the Qatari’s of the impending attack, and he did so.
While condemning the Israeli attack on its soil, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, said, “We cannot call it anything other than state terrorism practiced by someone like (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu in the context of these systematic policies and his ongoing attacks that have destabilised regional security and stability is simply a clear message to the region as a whole. And this message says that there is a rogue player in this region and ongoing political recklessness that has encroached upon the sovereignty of states”.

“Netanyahu himself declared that he would reshape the Middle East. Does that mean that he intends to reshape the Gulf as well?”, the Qatari PM said.
The attack happened at 3:46, and after 10 minutes of the attack, Qatar received an American official, he said. “And after that, President Trump had spoken with his highness Emir. He condemned the attack and the US government’s position that they had no knowledge about the attack”, Al Thani said.
Notably, Israel conducted an attack on Hamas leadership in Doha, killing 5 Hamas members, including the son of senior leader Khalil al-Hayya, and 1 Qatari security force member. As per the reports, an Israeli military official, the attacks were carried out to eliminate senior leaders of Hamas under the operation ‘Summit of Fire’.
However, the attacks happened when peace talks were being conducted between Hamas and Qatar’s officials, as Doha is mediating negotiations between Israel and Hamas since the October 7 war started.

Israel has drawn worldwide condemnation for the recent attack, in which Saudi Arabia has called it a violation of international laws.
