October 7th marks one year of sorrow, genocide, and resilience. Since Hamas, the resistance movement of the besieged Gaza, unleashed an unprecedented attack on Israel on last October 7th, many things unfolded. Israel reigned chaos in Gaza, following the humiliation caused by the resistance group. Here is a list of destruction caused by Israel during its “war of revenge” in Gaza.
Reportedly, more than 45,000 bombs and more than 85,000 tons explosives were used by Israel on the people of Gaza, which is six times stronger than the atom bomb dropped Hiroshima.
It would take more than a year to clear all the debris from the coastal enclave, which is amounting to more than 42 million tonnes. As per the report, the debris are also rife with unexploded bombs.

Nearly 42,000 Palestinians were murdered. They were killed while some are waiting for food, sleeping, in the hospital bed, at the United Nations refugee installations which were deemed “safe zone”, and while evacuating. Over 17,000 children in Gaza were killed, and more than 80 percentage of those murdered are women and children.
More than 10,000 Palestinians are believed to be trapped under the rubble after Israel pummeled the neighbourhoods. Rescuing them without even basic tools proved to be a herculean task, still the Palestinians are managing it with bare hands. more than 97,000 critically wounded are in Gaza, seeking treatment from hospitals, most of which are destroyed, and are running out of facilities and basic equipment. As per the report, all the 34 hospitals in Gaza were targeted by the Israeli Occupation Force.
In total, over 114 hospitals and clinics in the Strip were targeted, leaving the patients with no facility to get the required treatment. Civilians and children dying on hospital floors became a daily scene.
Israeli bombing had killed more than 171 infants, and nearly 710 toddlers below one year.
25,973 children in Gaza are now orphans. Their parents were killed in the relentless bombing campaign.
More than 986 health workers including UN staffs were killed. More than 174 journalists in Gaza were also murdered, mostly by deliberate targeting.

Israel has destroyed nearly 80 percentage of homes in Gaza. Nearly 90 percentage of the enclave’s population are now displaced, that is nearly 2 million people from its total 2.3 million population.
Israel has destroyed at least 611 mosques in Gaza, and partially destroyed over 214 mosques. All three churches in Gaza were also targeted and damaged by the occupation force.
Israel also destroyed all the 12 universities of Gaza. And more than 60 percentage of its farmland are also destroyed.
Speaking of the loss Israel had, more than 1,200 Israelis were killed – mostly civilians – in Hamas attack on last October 7th. More than 385 Israeli soldiers were killed during clash with Hamas in its ground invasion. Over 3,072 were wounded with many losing limbs, and suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Since the war started in Gaza, more than 50,000 Israelis flee to other countries.
