World leaders including US President Joe Biden, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, President of France Emmanuel Macron along with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi were at the iconic Rajghat, the memorial complex in Delhi, dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, located on the banks of the Yamuna River, today morning.

“At the iconic Rajghat, the G20 family paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi – the beacon of peace, service, compassion and non-violence. As diverse nations converge, Gandhi Ji’s timeless ideals guide our collective vision for a harmonious, inclusive and prosperous global future,” Prime Minister Modi said in an X post.

The leaders, who are in New Delhi for the G20 summit, were able to find consensus on entry of African Union to the grouping, the New Delhi G20 Leaders’ Declaration, India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor and Global Biofuels Alliance so far.

After a busy schedule in Delhi, Joe Biden left for Vietnam for today morning.
