Humiliated At UN: Mass Walkout As Israeli PM Netanyahu Begins Gaza War Speech
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faced a stark diplomatic rebuke at the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday as rows of delegates stood up and left the hall during his address, leaving large sections of the chamber conspicuously empty.
The walkout reflected Israel’s deepening isolation on the world stage, even as its war in Gaza shows no sign of abating.

Netanyahu, under the shadow of an International Criminal Court arrest warrant for alleged war crimes, delivered one of his most defiant speeches yet.
He vowed that Israel’s military campaign would not stop “until Hamas can no longer threaten our people,” brushing aside mounting civilian deaths, international condemnation, and growing famine reports from inside Gaza.
Wearing a lapel pin with a QR code that linked to Israel’s account of the Hamas-led October 7 attacks, Netanyahu urged delegates to “see for themselves” the atrocities that killed more than 1,100 people in Israel.

He has consistently framed that day as the moral anchor of Israel’s military offensive, even as Gaza’s death toll climbs past 65,000. At least 40 more Palestinians were killed on Thursday alone, according to health officials, amid acute hunger and collapsing hospitals.
The prime minister held up a map he called “Iran’s terror axis,” showcasing Israel’s regional enemies, and bragged about targeted assassinations of militant leaders. He even referenced a recent operation in Lebanon where Israeli forces detonated pagers carried by Hezbollah fighters. “You remember those beepers, the pagers,” he quipped, drawing gasps from some quarters. “We paged Hezbollah, and believe me, they got the message.”

His combative rhetoric was met with silence in the chamber—except for the empty seats left by diplomats who chose not to listen.
Netanyahu claimed tht he addressed the families of Israeli hostages directly, promising their release and insisting that Hamas still posed a threat capable of repeating October 7. “We have not forgotten you, not even for a second,” he said, his words later broadcast into Gaza. He framed Israel’s war effort as “one of the most stunning comebacks in history,” before warning, “But we’re not done,” he added.
