Notably, the US President has taken a tough stand on the immigration. Donald Trump’s immigration policy is focused on restricting immigration and tightening border security. The US President has prioritized building a wall along the US-Mexico border to prevent illegal immigration and drug trafficking. Trump administration has also imposed a ban on travel from several predominantly Muslim-majority countries (e.g., Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen). The ban was modified after legal challenges.
