Nepal Flash Floods: Death Toll Rises To Nearly 350 As Search Continues For Hundreds Of Missing

Nepal: At least authorities have recovered at least 332 bodies after deadly flash flood hit Nepal on Wednesday. Over 1000 people remains missing as search operation continue to locate the missing people. 

Authorities have confirmed the latest casualties as the death toll is expected to raise further. In addition to Nepal, China’s state broadcaster has issued a figure of three confirmed deaths and more than 500 people missing in Tibet.

Rescue teams have found bodies hundreds of miles downstream from the disaster zone in the Chitwan district of Nepal, near the Tibetan border, as per a report by The Guardian.

There are many Hindu pilgrims in the missing after the flood swept away the entire Nepal-Tibet border region. According to Jagdish Vasudev, a Hindu Guru, there were nearly 100 pilgrims at the Nepal-China border immigration office when the flood hit on Wednesday.
