The US Republican candidate Donald Trump is going back to Butler, Pennsylvania, the setting of the first assassination attempt on him. Trump said he planned to “celebrate a unifying vision for America’s future in an event like the world has never seen before.”

Elon Musk said he will also join Trump. Taking to his X account, Musk said, “I will be there to support!” He was responding to the former President’s post about his return to the site.

Trump was attacked on July 13 this year, after a bullet grazed his ear. The assassination attempt shook the mountainous community, where Trump enjoys great support.

The former US president will speak from the same spot as before on Saturday. It is expected that many will come for the rally.

Musk, the chief executive officer of Tesla Inc. and SpaceX, has already committed millions to Trump’s third White House bid. Reportedly, Musk already started spending $71 million mostly on canvassing and field operations to get out the vote.

Trump’s rally at fairgrounds in Butler, Pennsylvania, comes exactly one month before Election Day. At a rally held in July, a gunman’s bullet grazed his ear. The gunman killed Corey Comperatore, a firefighter, as he shielded his family, and gravely wounding two others.

The image of a bloodied Trump standing up after the shooting, fist pumped and mouthing “Fight!” has become one of the most iconic images of the campaign, emblazoned upon T-shirts, vehicles and across social media.

Butler is also getting ready for Trump’s return. It is said that the region is still healing, and some even show signs of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). “I’ve consulted with, at least, like 500 people since this has happened,” said registered nurse Shanea Clancy, who runs a mental health consulting service in Butler County, as quoted by media.
