
World's Haviest 10Kg Gold Dress Worth Dh4.6-Million On Display In Sharjah
The world’s heaviest gold dress, valued at Dh4.6 million, has been put on display at the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show at Expo Centre in Sharjah.
The dress is made up of 21-karat gold, and the piece is named “Dubai Dress,” weighing 10.0812 kg. It has been officially recognised by the Guinness World Records. The dress consists of four main features: a golden crown weighing 398 grams, a necklace of 8,810.60 grams, earrings weighing 134.1 grams, and the “Hiyar” Piece of 738.5 grams.
The dress is showcased by Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery, which had earlier displayed a Dh 1.5 million gold bicycle in previous editions.

The 56th edition of the 5-day Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show displays over 500 local and international exhibitors, as well as over 1,800 designers, manufacturers, and industry personnel.
The exhibition is open from Thursday to Sunday, starting at 1 pm to 10 pm on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and from 3 pm to 10 pm on Friday. The entry is free for visitors.
The exhibition features numerous leading international brands and designers from Italy, India, Turkey, the US, Russia, the UK, Japan, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.
The exhibition also displays strong participants from local exhibitors and regional players from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain and Lebanon.

Gold prices have surged in recent years, hitting record highs globally and in Dubai. On Wednesday evening, spot gold traded at $3,765 per ounce, up 0.67%. In Dubai, 24K, 22K, and 21K were priced at Dh454.25, Dh420.5, and Dh403.25 per gram, respectively.
