2025 Skoda Kodiaq Launched At Rs 46.89 Lakh; Second-Generation Of Skoda’s Flagship SUV
With starting costs of Rs 46.89 lakh for the Sportline trim and Rs 48.69 lakh for the Laurin & Klement (L&K) trim (both ex-showroom, India), the second-generation Skoda Kodiaq has been introduced in India. The new Kodiaq is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and is still locally built in India. The second-generation SUV receives a small power boost, a completely redesigned interior with many additional features, and evolutionary style. Skoda opened reservations for the new Kodiaq today, and deliveries are scheduled to start on May 2.
Compared to the previous generation SUV, which had a crisper design language, the new Kodiaq seems a little more rounded. New LED daytime running lamp signatures that even reach into the grille have been added, but the split headlamp configuration has remained. There are useful air vents on either side of the bumper, and the bonnet also has attractive power bulges.

The 18-inch alloy wheels on the L&K trim have a new aero-optimised appearance, and the D-pillar has a contrasting finish. The Kodiaq is equipped with new C-shaped taillights at the back that are connected by a light band. Although the overall length has increased by 59mm, the wheelbase has remained same at 2,791mm.The grille, wing mirrors, D-pillar garnish, and rear bumper are all blacked out to identify the Sportline specification. The 18-inch alloys also gain a sportier look.
The interior of the Kodiaq is entirely new, while the exterior still has some similarities to the old model. The new 13-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system is the centerpiece of the dashboard’s wings design. A new 10-inch digital driver’s display with navigation feed, three physical dials for the HVAC controls, and a redesigned two-spoke steering wheel with “Skoda” writing (three-spoke on the Sportline) are also included. In addition to having a recline feature, the seats in the second row may be moved forward and backward to create more space.
