In a bid to align with the latest Global Safety Regulation II (GSR II) and to enhance their product offerings, Dacia unveils a series of updates and improvements for their 2024 lineup of vehicles, including the Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Jogger, and Logan models.
Standing as a testament to its enduring popularity, the Sandero has maintained its position as a leading contender in retail sales since 2017, with over 3 million units sold since its inception in 2008. Notably, the Sandero Stepway variant comprises a significant portion of the Sandero mix, accounting for two-thirds of its sales.
Meanwhile, the Jogger has exceeded 100,000 units sold and has secured its place as a frontrunner in C-segment (excluding SUV) retail sales across Europe. The introduction of the HYBRID 140 version has further bolstered its appeal, with a quarter of the mix now comprising this variant.
In addition, the Logan model has achieved remarkable success, ranking as the third best-selling vehicle in Morocco and claiming the top spot in Romania.
With the advent of the latest Global Safety Regulation II, Dacia is poised to ensure compliance across its entire range of vehicles. Scheduled for release in April 2024 (depending on the country), the Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Jogger, and Logan models will feature enhancements to meet the new safety standards.
Among the updates are new product upgrades aimed at making the vehicles GSR II compliant. The Sandero”s Journey trim now mirrors the Stepway”s Extreme trim, boasting a range of standard features such as a shark antenna, Randia diamond-finish alloy wheels, and various equipment including climate control and a rearview camera.
Furthermore, new two-tone Atara Flexwheels on the Sandero and Logan models, along with two-tone Dark Atara Flexwheels on the Stepway and Jogger, enhance the aesthetic appeal of these vehicles. Additionally, debut appearances of the Randia and Randia Dark diamond alloy wheels on select models add a touch of sophistication.
The introduction of new shades, including Safari Beige exclusive to the Sandero Stepway, along with Shale Grey and Cedar Green now available across all models, offers customers a broader spectrum of choices.
Technological advancements are also evident, with the Jogger HYBRID 140 featuring a modern 7-inch instrument panel, previously seen on the All-new Duster, providing drivers with more comprehensive information.
Moreover, the implementation of the new E-SAVE function on the Jogger HYBRID 140 allows drivers to proactively manage their energy consumption by setting a target charge level for the traction battery.
Efforts to minimize environmental impact continue, with Dacia removing all chrome accents and animal leather from the 2024 models. Additionally, the introduction of a practical handbook and digital access to detailed guides via the My Dacia app underscores the brand”s commitment to sustainability and customer convenience.
