New Trim Added To Volkswagen Taigun, Virtus: What’s In Store?
Volkswagen has added a new trim to the Taigun and the Virtus lineups which is called the Highline Plus. This new trim is slotted between the top-spec Topline and the mid-spec Highline. The Virtus Highline Plus is priced at Rs 13.87 lakh, whereas for the Taigun Highline Plus starts at Rs 14.26 lakh.
Here are the key feature updates of the Highline Plus over the Highline trim includes. It is loaded with features like 8-inch digital instrument cluster, auto dimming IRVM, Keyless entry with push button start/stop, Electric sunroof, Auto Headlights, Rain sensing wipers, Auto coming or leaving home lights to name a few. The Highline Plus trim of Taigun and Virtus is loaded with 1.0-litre 3-cylinder, TSI turbocharged petrol engine that belts out 114 bhp of power and 175 Nm of peak torque. The Transmission are mated to 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

The new Highline Plus trim, Volkswagen has also upgraded a key feature in the top-spec Topline trim. In the latest update, the Taigun Topline and Virtus Topline now comes with a digital sound package loaded with an amplifier and subwoofer as standard fitment.
Volkswagen has also added a few features to top-spec Taigun GT. The Line trim includes 8-inch digital instrument cluster, Auto dimming IRVM, and host of other features to make it the top selling model. After incorporating latest set of updates, the Volkswagen Taigun range is priced between Rs 11.70 lakh and Rs 18.54 lakh, whereas the Virtus range is priced between Rs 11.56 lakh and 17.85 lakh.
