Toyota Hilux Black Edition Launched At Rs 37.90 Lakh; Shares Its Underpinnings With Fortuner, Innova Crysta
Apart from the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, the Toyota Hilux is the only other lifestyle pickup truck available for purchase in India. The Hilux is not very popular in our nation, but it is well-known across the world for being indestructible. The Hilux Black Edition, a special edition ladder-on-frame truck from the Japanese automaker, is now available in India for Rs 37.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Toyota is now selling the Hilux in two different models, the High and Black Edition, both of which have the same pricing. Later this month, Hilux deliveries are expected to start. In keeping with its name, the Hilux Black Edition has both exterior and interior cosmetic upgrades over the base model.

Its sleek and aggressive appeal is further enhanced by additional design components like black ORVM covers, door handles, fender garnish, and fuel lid garnish.
Its dynamic appearance is further enhanced by a sporty Under Run on the front bumper. Sharp, swept-back LED headlights and LED rear combo lamps complete the sleek, high-end design, giving it a unique lighting identity. The Hilux now comes in five color options: Silver Metallic, Super White, Grey Metallic, White Pearl Crystal Shine, and Emotional Red. The all-black hue is the newest addition to the lineup.

Although Toyota has not yet formally released the pictures of the cabin interiors to back up the allegation, the interior of the Hilux Black Edition is in line with its exterior, which is also coated in a similar black theme.
For smooth connectivity, the Hilux has an eight-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A reverse parking camera with an audible display for improved vision, cruise control, electrochromic IRVM for automatic darkening, and an eight-way powered driver seat are further convenience features.
Convenience is increased with the Hilux Black Edition’s electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs, dual-zone climate control, automated headlights, Smart Entry with an Engine Push Start/Stop Button, and now completed in black to match the new look.
With seven airbags, Electronic Differential Lock (EDL), Traction Control (TC), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Automatic Limited Slip Differential (ALSD) for superior handling and control, the Hilux Black Edition prioritizes safety. Stability on steep slopes and difficult terrain is further improved by Hill Assist Control (HAC) and Downhill Assist Control (DAC). Furthermore, front parking sensors ensure a safe and secure driving experience by adding convenience in confined places.
