Toyota has introduced a new top-tier variant for the non-hybrid version of the Innova Crysta, dubbed the GX(O), positioned between the existing petrol-only GX and the robust hybrid VX models.Bookings for the GX(O) variant commenced approximately three weeks ago with a token amount of Rs 50,000. Before this addition, the non-hybrid Innova Crysta was available in G(FL) and GX trims.
The Innova Crysta GX(O) is offered in both 8 and 7-seater configurations, priced at Rs 20.99 lakh and Rs 21.13 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). The new variant boasts a more upscale cabin and includes value-added features compared to other non-hybrid variants.
In terms of features, the GX(O) variant offers front LED fog lamps, a rear window demister, automatic climate control with rear seat auto blower, auto-fold ORVMs, and a height-adjustable driver seat. Moreover, it comes with dual-tone fabric upholstery, soft-touch dashboard materials, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display for the 7-seater variant with second-row captain seats. Additional enhancements include wireless Apple CarPlay, electronic parking brake with Auto-hold, and a 360-degree camera system. Safety features include six airbags, a wide rear-view parking camera, and front and rear parking sensors.
The GX(O) trim is available in seven colour options: Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Platinum White Pearl, Attitude Black Mica, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Super White, and Avant Garde Bronze Metallic. Complementing the new variant are several value-added services, including five years of complimentary Road-Side Assistance, a standard warranty of three years or 1,00,000 kilometers, and a personalized extended warranty program, along with a Certified Exchange program.
Powering the Innova Crysta GX(O) variant is a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine generating 173 bhp and 209 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic transmission. In contrast, the hybrid variants are equipped with a 2.0-liter petrol-hybrid engine producing 182 bhp, paired with an eCVT automatic transmission acting as a starter generator.
The introduction of the GX(O) variant expands the Innova Crysta lineup, offering customers more choices and enhanced features while maintaining Toyota”s reputation for reliability and quality craftsmanship.
