World of Statistics, a popular Twitter handle, recently posted a long list of companies that have Indian-origin CEOs. Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk commented on the post, saying “Impressive.” Recently, Musk had also tweeted that he “looks forward” to visiting India in the coming year, 2024.
Many high-profile companies have chief executives who are of Indian origin, the company’s list in X handle included tech and non- tech companies. It began with, Alphabet with Sundar Pichai, Microsoft with Satya Nadella, YouTube with Neal Mohan, Adobe with Shantanu Narayan, Starbucks with Laxman Narasimhan, Cognizant with Ravikumar S, Micron Technology and Channel with Sanjay Mehrotra and Leena Nair. More featured on the list.
Ajay Banga, the 14th President of the World Bank Group is also in the list. The other companies were NetApp, Albertsons, Novartis, Palo Alto Networks, Arista Networks, Honeywell, Flex, Wayfair, Vimeo, OnlyFans and Motorola Mobility.

Recently in a reply to a post by DogeDesigner which said that he was planning to visit India in 2024, Musk had replied saying, “I look forward to it.”
Musk had met Indian PM Modi in NewYork, in June. When asked if he was invited to India, Musk replied in the affirmative, saying, “He did. And yes, I”m tentatively planning to visit India again next year. I”m looking forward.”” Tesla also has plans to enter Indian markets, reported NDTV.
