Mumbai Hotel Rates Soars Up To Nearly Rs 1 Lakh Ahead Of Anant Ambani Wedding

Ahead of Anant Ambani’s wedding this week, the room rates at Mumbai’s top luxury hotel have surged dramatically. The hotels have received high demand from July 11-17 while the wedding ceremony is slated to take place on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).

As per the travel and hotel websites, the two main hotel properties in BKC are all sold out. The room rates at the Trident BKC stand at Rs 10,250 per night plus taxes on July 9, rising to Rs 16,750 plus taxes on July 15, and Rs 13,750 plus taxes on July 16.

Although the exact locations of the accommodations of the guests are not yet confirmed, the soaring hotel rates in BKC and surrounding areas hint at a significant influx of celebrities and distinguished personalities.

According to CNBCTV18, rates are skyrocketing. A hotel that typically charges Rs 13,000 is now quoting Rs 91,350 per night on July 14. And as per the Economic Times report, the Trident in Bandra Kurla has no rooms available on July 11-12, while the Sofitel Mumbai BKC charges Rs 66,434 for a night on July 11. The Trident at Nariman Point offers rooms at Rs 25,370. The Oberoi Mumbai is charging Rs 63,130 and the Taj The Trees has rooms available for Rs 42,362. A room at the Holiday Inn near the Mumbai International Airport costs Rs 25,699.
