Kaggalipura police station in Bengaluru has registered a rape and sexual harassment case against BJP MLA Muniratna Naidu. The complainant, a 40-year-old woman from the city, alleged that the BJP leader raped her for two years starting in 2020, adding that the MLA’s six associates, including his gunman, blackmailed and threatened her with obscene videos that Naidu recorded.
The woman also alleged that the BJP MLA used her to honeytrap the husband of a former corporator. However, the case has been registered at the Kaggalipura police station in Ramanagara district, and the incident took place at a private resort under Kaggalipura police station limits, reports news agency ANI.

The First Information Report has been registered against MLA Munirathna and his six associates.
Notably, Vyalikaval police station had recently filed two additional cases against Naidu over two separate complaints: one a former corporator’s complaint of an atrocity case, and the other a BBMP contractor’s allegation that the BJP leader demanded a Rs 30 lakh bribe from him. Naidu is currently under judicial custody at Bengaluru Central Prison, reported Times of India
