Calicut University Undergraduate Admission: Online Registration Started
The University of Calicut has commenced online registration for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2025-26. Applications can be submitted online until 5 PM on June 9. Application fees: Rs 205 for SC/ST candidates and Rs 495 for others. Website: www.admission.uoc.ac.in
All applicants seeking admission to the Four-Year Undergraduate Programmes (FYUGP) must read and understand the CUFYUGP REGULATIONS-2024 published on the admission portal before applying online. Students admitted to undergraduate programs can complete their studies under three options as per CUFYUGP REGULATIONS-2024: (a) 3-year UG degree, (b) 4-year UG degree (Honours), (c) 4-year UG degree (Honours with Research).
The admission notification for existing B.Voc programs will be issued by the university later.
For the initial stage of online application submission, applicants must provide their basic details through the link http://admission.uoc.ac.in/ug/ -> Apply Now to receive their CAP ID and password on their mobile. To avoid issues with receiving the CAP ID and security key due to incorrect mobile numbers, OTP (One-Time Password) verification has been implemented.
Therefore, applicants must provide only their own or their parent’s/guardian’s mobile number during online registration. Using the CAP ID and password received, applicants must log in to complete the application process. Applicants must not disclose the password received during online application submission and should keep it secure until the admission process is complete. The application fee must be paid at the end of the application process. Before clicking the Save & Proceed button, applicants should verify that all provided details are correct. After paying the application fee, applicants must log in again to download and print the application form. The application is considered complete only after obtaining the printout.
All undergraduate honours programs, including B.Com and BBA, will have specializations. Details of majors, minors, and specializations for undergraduate programs available at various colleges can be found on the respective college websites or notice boards.
Applicants must ensure that the marks, weightage for NSS/NCC, non-creamy layer status, EWS reservation details, etc., provided during online registration are accurate. Only those who correctly enter their register number, name, and date of birth as per their +2/Higher Secondary mark list will be able to complete the online registration. Therefore, registration must be completed solely based on the +2/HSE mark list.
Applicants can select up to 20 options during online registration. They should carefully choose their most preferred courses in government, aided, and self-financing colleges in order of priority. The fee structure for self-financing courses will differ from that of aided/government courses.
Applicants seeking admission under the community quota will be considered for eligible community quota seats in the aided colleges included in their 20 college options. The list of colleges eligible for each community quota is published on the website. Applicants must ensure that the colleges selected in their options include those listed for the community quota.
Applicants who have submitted their application and obtained the printout can edit their application through the student login until the last date of online registration. Those who edit their application must download and keep the updated application printout.
The application printout does not need to be sent to the university or colleges. However, upon securing admission, the printout must be submitted to the respective college along with other relevant documents.
All applicants (general, management, community quota, sports, differently-abled, and various reservation categories) must register online. Those seeking admission under management or sports quotas must, in addition to online registration, directly contact and apply to the colleges where they wish to secure admission.
Important information regarding allotments, admissions, etc., will be published on the website http://admission.uoc.ac.in at the appropriate time.
