CAT 2025: Registration, Exam, And Other Important Dates
The Indian Institutes of Management will conduct a computer-based Common Admission Test 2025 (CAT 2025) for admission into the Management programs. The registration for the CAT 2025 starts from August 1, 2025, at 10 am at iimcat.ac.in.
CAT 2025 is important for admission to various Post Graduate and Fellow/Doctorate programmes of IIMs. CAT 2025 scores are allowed to be used by the listed non-IIM member institutes.
Notably, the IIM will conduct the CAT 2025 exam on November 30, 2025, in three sessions.

CAT will be conducted in test centres spread across around 170 test cities. Candidates will be given the option to select any five test cities in order of their preference. The list of cities can be changed based on the discretion of the CAT authorities.
CAT 2025: Important dates
- The registration closes on September 13, 2025, at 5 pm.
- Admit card download will start on November 5 till November 30, 2025.
- The Result will tentatively be declared in the first week of January 2025.
Candidates can fill out the application forms once the registrations open through the official website by submitting a fee of Rs 2600 for general category candidates and Rs 1300 for SC, ST, and PwD category candidates.

A candidate needs to pay the registration fees only once, irrespective of the number of applying institutes. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
