CBSE Class 12 Result: How To Do Revaluation
The result of the Class 12 examination 2023-24 conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been declared today, May 13, 2024. The CBSE Class 12 result is available on the CBSE website – cbseresults.nic.in.
This year, a total of 16,33,730 students were registered for the exam, and a total of 16,21,224 students appeared for the CBSE 12th board exam. The total pass percentage for the year 2024 is 87.98 percent. This year, the pass percentage improved by 0.65%.
Thiruvananthapuram region topped the CBSE regions with an overall 99.91 pass percentage, followed by Vijayawada and Chennai with pass percentages of 99.04% and 98.47%, respectively.
CBSE Class 12 results: Revaluation policy
According to the CBSE, evaluation of the Class 12 answer sheets is done under a well-settled policy.
“There are several checks to ensure that the evaluation is correct and error free. However, after the declaration of result, if the students are not satisfied with their performance communicated through results, CBSE provides an opportunity to the students for verification of marks, facility to obtain the Photocopy of their evaluated answer books and the re-evaluation of their answers thereafter,” CBSE said in a statement.
The CBSE also added that these activities are time-bound and can be availed only online. No request after the last date and in offline mode will be accepted by the board as this breaches important examination safety protocol.
The Proposed Schedule For Re-Evaluation
Verification of Marks: From the 4th day from the date of declaration of result to the 8th day from the date of declaration of result (This facility will be available for 5 days).
Obtaining (Scanned) Photocopy Of The Evaluated Answer Book(s): From the 19th day from the date of the declaration of the result to the 20th day from the date of the declaration of the result (this facility will be available for 2 days)
Re-evaluation Of Answer(s): From the 24th day from the date of declaration of the result to the 25th day from the date of declaration of the result (this facility will be available for 2 days as well).
The board also stated that the details for applying for the above three and the actual schedule will be announced soon.
