
CBSE Class 12 Results: 5 Things To Know
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared Class 12 Results today, May 13. The exams were conducted from February 15 to April 2.
5 Things To Know
- Students can access the result through CBSE official website, mobile app, DigiLocker app and Umang app. Besides, school-wise result will also be available to schools on their email ids.
- The pass percentage of Class XII students current year is 87.98%, which 0.65% higher than the pass percentage of the last year, i.e., 87.33%.
- After the results got announced, the result documents will be given to students in their DigiLocker. The students can access their DigiLocker either using PIN or Aadhaar number. Following, the Board will provide Printed Mark sheets cum Passing Certificates through the schools.
- To ensure robust system of evaluation, CBSE has facilitated following provisions to students: verify their marks, photocopy (scanned copy) of the answer sheet, and request for re-evaluation. It should be proceeded via online within the stipulated time.
- Considering the scope for improvement of the students, the CBSE is enabling more opportunities for advancing their performance. Hence, the supplementary examination will be conducted from July 15, Monday.
The Board has employed extensive use of technology (in house developed IT system) for the smooth conduct of Main Examinations in 2024, result compilation and declaration. The organising and management of CBSE examinations, Class X and Class XII, is considered as the second biggest practice after General Elections in the country.
This time, increasing more evaluation centres, evaluation days were reduced from 12 days to nearly 9 days. For the Class XII, examination of four new subjects were conducted this year; They are Kokborok, Physical Activity Trainer, Land Transportation Associate, Electronics and Hardware, and Design Thinking & Innovation
The number of students appearing for the Board examinations are increasing each year. The CBSE has decided to conduct next year, i.e., 2025 examination from February 15 onwards.
