Today, on March 11, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG 2024. The exam will conclude on March 28.
The NTA has planned to conduct the exam in three different shifts – 9 am to 10:45 am, 12:45 pm to 2:30 pm, and 4:30 pm to 6:15 pm. The candidates’ admit cards have already been released at the official CUET PG website – pgcuet.samarth.ac.in
Both the Admit Card and City Slip should be carried out to the exam center, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall. Candidates are advised to reach their respective centres 90 minutes before the exam starts. They have also been asked to bring an additional photograph (same as uploaded on the application form), an authorized photo ID, and a PwBD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer (if needed).
Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall 30 minutes before the exam starts. Candidates will be given 10 minutes to log in and read the instructions before the commencement of the exam.
CUET PG exam duration would be 105 Minutes and the Question paper will have 75 Questions. For each correct answer, Four marks will be awarded and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Languages papers will be in the concerned language only.
This year, 4,62,580 candidates have registered for the CUET-PG examination, which is being held for admission to postgraduate courses in various central universities. The total number of candidates registered for this national-level entrance examination has seen a marginal increase from last year’s 4,58,774.
Among the states, Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of candidates with 88,065, and Delhi saw 87,371 students registering for the CUET PG exam scheduled to be held from March 11 to 28. Kerala came in third place in registrations with 30,394 candidates, reported Manoramaonline.
