GATE Admit Card 2025 Release Date Postponed
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has announced the delay in the release of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 admit cards. The hall tickets will be released on January 7. To download the admit card candidates must go through the official website – gate2025.iitr.ac.in and enter their enrolment ID and password. Earlier, admit cards were to be released on January 2, 2024.
The GATE 2025 written exam is scheduled to be held on February 1, 2, 15, 16, 2025. The exam will be conducted in English language. The exam includes 30 different test papers and candidates are allowed to choose and appear for one or two of these papers. The test paper contains questions based on three formats: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Selection Questions (MSQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

The admit card carries information about the candidate, including exam date, time, venue and important instructions to be followed during the examination.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination is conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (MTech), and direct PhD admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other institutes/universities across India.
GATE 2025 Admit Card: Steps To Download
Step 1: Go to the official website – gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the GATE admit card 2025 link
Step 3: Enter the login credentials – registration ID and password
Step 4: After submitting the details, admit card will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Review it carefully and Download it.
