IIT Madras Reschedules JEE Advanced 2024 Registration Dates

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) has announced the revised JEE Advanced registration dates. As per the official information, the registration process for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam will begin on April 27. The deadline has also been extended to May 7 and the last date for fee payment of registration is May 10. Eligible candidates will be able to register for JEE Advanced at the official website – jeeadv.ac.in.

Notably, only those candidates who successfully clear the JEE Main 2024 will be eligible for registration to JEE Advanced 2024. Moreover, there is also an age restriction to appear for the examination. According to the rules, candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1999, to appear for the exam. However, candidates with SC, ST, and PwD categories were granted a 5 year age relaxation (October 1, 1994).

Earlier, the JEE advanced registration was scheduled to be held on April 21 till April 30. Although the registration schedule has been revised, there is no information regarding change in the examination date announced by the institute. The JEE Advanced 2024 is expected to be scheduled for May 26, 2024.

The JEE Advanced will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format. The examination will be conducted in two sessions: Paper 1 from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The admit cards will be available from May 17.

Step 2: Click on the registration link.

Step 3: Fill in the details to register carefully

Step 4: Pay the registration fees.

Step 5: Click the submit button to complete the process.

Step 6: Download and save a copy of the form.
