The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has conducted raids at seven locations in Gujarat in the NEET-UG paper leak case. The officials have said that the operation began in the morning at the premises of suspects spread across four districts- Anand, Kheda, Ahmedabad and Godhra.
So far, the central agency has arrested another accused Jamaluddin, a journalist with a Hindi daily in Hazaribag, Jharkhand, for allegedly assisting the principal and vice-principal of Oasis School in Bihar, as per the CBI source.

The principal of Oasis School, Ehsanul Haque was made the city coordinator of Hazaribagh for the medical entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency on May 5.
Vice Principal Imtiaz Alam was designated as the NTA’s observer and the center coordinator for Oasis School. The officials have said that the CBI is questioning five more people from the district in connection with the leak.
The CBI has registered six FIRs in the NEET-UG paper leak case which includes its own FIR on a reference from the Union education ministry and five from the states where it took over the investigation.
The probe agency has taken charge of the cases in Bihar and Gujarat and three in Rajasthan.
On June 14, Gujarat Police arrested five persons, including the head of a coaching center, in connection with the alleged paper leak in the medical examination in a center in Godhra. Around a dozen students, their parents, and a Vadora-based coaching center run by a group of teachers are allegedly involved in the NEET scam.

NEET-UG is conducted by the NTA for admissions to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other related courses in government and private institutions.
