NEET UG 2024 Re-examination Scorecard Expects To Be Released On June 30

NEET UG 2024 Re-examination Scorecard Expects To Be Released On June 30

The National Testing Agency (NTA) expects to release the NEET UG 2024 re-examination scorecard on June 30. The NEET re-examination was conducted for 1,563 candidates on June 23, 2024, for the students who were given grace marks due to the loss of time at the examination centers. However, only 813 (52%) candidates showed up for the retest and the remaining 48% of students opted for their original scores, which excludes the grace marks.

At the Jhajjar center in Haryana, which came under scrutiny after several candidates from here appeared in the top ranks, a total of 287 candidates out of 494 appeared for the re-examination. At Chandigarh Center, two registered candidates did not attend the exam. In Chattisgarh, 291 candidates took the retest, 1 in Gujarat and 234 in Meghalaya.

The NEET UG – 2024 exam was conducted on May 5 and more than 24 lakh candidates took the exam. The result was declared on June 4. A total of 67 candidates secured the rank one with a perfect 720 score. Six candidates among them were from the same center in Haryana. Apart from that paper solving gangs was also reported in Gujarat, Bihar, and other places.

The exam related irregularities caused an uproar among candidates that led the central government to take stern measures with respect to the re-examination, CBI enquiry into the alleged NEET paper leak cases and formation of expert committee to ensure transparency in the examination procedure.

The government took decision to re-conduct the examination for a total of 1,563 candidates who got grace marks with an option for appearing for the re-exam or to abandon the grace marks. Notably, only 813 candidates appeared for the exam and opted the other option.

  • Select the NEET UG results link
  • Enter the login credentials – registration number and date of birth
  • Submit and the result will appear on the screen
  • Download and save or print out for future reference
