Noida: Junior Girl Assaulted In Bennet University; Video Goes Viral
In a recent video making rounds on social media, a group of girls was seen harassing a junior student while slurring and physically abusing her. The video is said to be from Bennett University, Noida.
In the viral video, the junior student was asked to say sorry and accept a slap. The girl resisted the slap; however, in the video, the senior students were seen assaulting her till she started crying.

In the video, the other girls were seen abusing and assaulting the girl. However, the conversation among the students shows that the matter is beyond the ragging and shows the apathy among the students when it comes to treating each other.
While the netizens are calling it a ragging incident, the clarity whether it was really a ragging issue could not be cleared by the conversation.
Bennet University is a private university located in Noida, UP. Netizens have reacted to the viral video, with several demanding strict punishment for the girls assaulting the junior student. One user has written on social media, “This is not ragging, it is outright criminal violence. Strict punishment is prescribed under UGC regulations and BNS. The administration must immediately suspend, and the police must register an FIR. Zero tolerance—action now, justice now”.
